Privacy & data use

IMPACT Companion is a private beta for invited teammates. It is not an official IMPACT, AIL, or Globe Life product. The information below is used only to show the open lead on the phone and to record the call. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used for credit or lending.

What the tool handles

The extension reads the text of the IMPACT lead that is already open: name, phone numbers, email, address, request type, and recent activity, plus any next lead it prepares. If you open a calling script, it can read that page so your name and the lead’s name can be filled in. Phone actions can move to another lead, register a call, and submit a supported result.

Your account

You sign in with the email and password from your invitation. The password is sent to the private account service to start the session. Companion does not keep its own copy of the password. Sign-in is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the time zone of that phone or computer. At 9:00 PM there it signs out on its own, and it stays signed out until 9:00 AM. The first name you enter is saved in Settings on that phone and can be shown to invited teammates on Alongside.

Optional microphone

If you turn on objection help during a call, the computer microphone listens so Companion can point at a matching script line. That audio stays on the computer. It is not uploaded. Nothing is captured unless you turn this on.

Where information goes

In Cloud mode, this information and pending commands are sent over HTTPS to the administrator’s Supabase project. Access requires a signed-in, approved account. Each account can access only its own workspace. GitHub Pages hosts the app files; customer details are not committed to GitHub.

Local mode uses your computer bridge. Supabase still verifies your account, but local-mode lead data stays on your computer and phone.

Storage and removal

Cloud mode keeps the latest lead snapshot, not a growing lead archive (calendar entries, below, are the exception). The database setup includes a cleanup job for snapshots older than 30 minutes, running once per minute. Database backups follow the administrator’s Supabase retention settings. Account sessions remain in browser storage until sign-out. Diagnostic snapshots and lead-list caches may remain in extension storage until sign-out or account change.

Calendar

In Cloud mode the phone’s Calendar keeps the appointments and callbacks you schedule: the lead’s name, one phone number, address, request type, the scheduled time and the IMPACT status line it came from. They are stored under your account only (no one else can read them) and deleted automatically 30 days after the scheduled date. Local mode does not save calendar entries to the cloud.

Alongside

If you leave “Appear on Alongside” on, invited teammates can see your first name and your totals for calls, appointments scheduled, appointments held, no-shows, APL, and referrals. They cannot see customer names, phone numbers, addresses, or notes. You can turn this off in Settings.

Calling-number health

Calling numbers and labels you save on Phone number health are stored in Supabase under your account, along with your active selection and registered call counts and results. This applies in Cloud and Local modes. This history does not store customer numbers or call audio. It is private to your account and is not shared on Alongside. Archiving a calling number keeps its history; deleting your account removes its numbers and tracking records. Companion does not check carrier spam labels or submit your numbers to spam-removal sites. Phone number health links to those carrier forms so you can open them yourself and paste a number you copied.

Optional text tracking

When Texting mode is enabled in Cloud mode, confirming a sent text stores its recipient number, lead name and ID, exact message you confirm, template version, phone slot, confirmation time and device time zone in Supabase under your account. Reply and appointment outcomes are entered by you. The app cannot read your Messages inbox or verify delivery. Records support message comparisons and sending-time suggestions, stay private to your enabled account, and remain until your account is deleted. Local drafts and a cached history remain on this browser. Disable Texting mode to stop new tracking and prompts; existing records are retained.

Your choices

Use Options to disable automatic syncing or choose Local mode. Sign out when finished on a shared device. Contact the person who invited you for access removal, account deletion, or privacy questions. Never share account passwords or connection tokens.
